hey zixxer i ran a .21 all last year and it would come off the track after a 20 min main(not fast engough for the 60 min lol) about 190 on average and if i ran it above 210 it started to feel too lean and hard to drive. it definatle has low temps like the old ops engine i used to run.
my grp seems that way but any head temp ive seen below like maybe 180 and the grp's just wont go .....but in cold weather i can definitely see that

I just got back from running a winter series race,
Temp outside was 52 for a high and around 65% humidity
Motor ran in the day at 203, plenty of power and nothing to complain about
In the morning and eve. I could only get the motor up to 173, I probably have leaned it out some more, but didn't feel it was needed. Power was just as good, but the head temp was off.
Ran the 2056 bat pipe, which I think is the same as the new Big Boy pipe and liked it alot. Way too much motor for the little track I was on.

One other thing...When you tune your engine are you doing it with a warm engine and a full tank, or with a hot (5 laps or so) engine and 1/2 tank? Tuning at 1/2 tank will lessen the lean out. This is assuming that you're not having tank problems...

i have the .24 eb mod pre run i am running trinity plat 30% and a p4 plug. i haven't moved the settings on the carb hsn a 3/4 above flush and lsn flush and idle 1.25 mm, JP-3 pipe. This is my third tank in this engine.
the tank is my third and is brand new lol, i have another brand new tank i will try. i did a leak test on the tank and came up with nothing. i submerged it in water and blew in the pressure nipple and closed off the fuel outlet nipple. i blew as hard as i could(lol) and no air bubbles. i used a high power light and could not see a crack or anything? i have tried new fuel line twice. it definately has air bubbles a lot of them at times at this level of fuel in the tank. under idle the bubbles dissapear but after a high speed pass there back.
you guys sure the fuel level just isn't too low?
I have pulled both the nipples(lol) and CA'd the threads and will try again tomorrow.
