Seriously, can't you remember the setup you used when you ran it at the Creek and got 5th (first meet)?
He struggles to remember when he's had lunch

Congrats fastolfart on your win, but are we gonna hear anything of the black flag?

I think that I have the crash and recover method under control now
Now all I have to do is not go too sleep when i'm leading by 4 seconds

I think I will leave the black flag story alone (I got suckered into that after a hard recovery from crash & burn)

May be we should rename the winter nat to the Brass Monkey Challenge should be nice and cold at Rooty Hill for the weekend

yes... the SCX content in RTR Lines is BORDERING OVERLOAD.... i think T Traders own the entire current issue of RTR Lines, with the Karn Evo3 on every 2nd page....

i wonder if Karn got his Evo3 in HK like everyone else?

I think RC Car Action did a great job of covering the Winternats, especially with the World Champion being here and all, 'cause that happens every day & stuff. I just knew they would do a great job of covering the event. I mean, having Andrew Abbott tell us about his day was sooo much better than getting some insight from Surikarn Jun. I mean, why would we want that, when we can have another article from Mr Abbott.

The Castle Hill winter pointscore summary was more in depth than the Winternats coverage. Im just glad that this issue had THAT photo in it. I hope its in the next one too.

Regards
Timmy

Well sort of, Daddy does, but often we see it at the newsagents first, so we just read it there. By the time our one comes, really it just goes in the cupboard......except this issue, because of that photo.

Daddy & I are thinking about our subscription & what we should do when it runs out. Really, we dont dig gas powered commodores & falcons that originate from Taiwan. They seem to be really popular with RC CAR ACTION, they are in every issue, sometimes more than once. I didnt think a different colour shell made it a different car, guess im wrong!

Also, im not sure who De Fina is? His name appears in alot of Cookie "its not all good" monsters' articles. Call me dumb, but I dont get all the personal references to cookie monsters mates. I guess you would have to "KNOW" who cookie monster was talking about to get the joke. Too bad about the 95% of readers who dont!

Melbourne people must be really really smart, cause if it wasnt for a Vic person taking a "second" look at the Surikarn JUN, I would have missed all the details that the sydney bloke didnt cover. I think it was exceptional advice to those with a regular evo 3 to spend the $700 odd dollars to upgrade to the Surikarn JUN, rather than the $300 in bits to do the conversion, or about $150 from O.S suppliers.

Regards
Timmy

Hi Mr White Day,
As a matter of fact, Daddy & I started to write our own version of that enjoyable "Racing with Rubbers" article that had NO biased or political overtones in it, just like the one Abbott & Costello wrote, but we hit a couple of hurdles.

Firstly, we didnt think it was right to push our own agenda on people, even though deep down, we knew we were right & anyone else was wrong. The other thing we were not sure about was the available space in RC CAR ACTION. I mean with slot cars being sooo huge nowadays, so big in fact that teachers, nurses & legal publishers dominating the scene, we were not sure we could condense our article to fit the page count.

Besides the Slot Cars, how can we compete with Radio Control Car Rock Crawling. One look outside and you know that climbing rocks in a 540 powered, undergeared MONSTA TRUCK is huge. Im suprised it doesnt take up more pages Did you all realize that Monsters Inc section of the Magazine had people write into it, even though it was the FIRST TIME it was pulished. Thats what you call huge, getting readers writing in BEFORE your first article. I just cant seem to find the "This page is an advertisement" disclaimer, no matter where I look.

Then there are the Micros. Boy, talk about H-U-G-E. We cant walk anywhere withought these "pocket sized rockets" buzzing around our feet can we? Every shop I go to has sold out of the Anderson MR-4 Micro. I cant wait for the "Hopping up the Anderson MR-4 Micro" article in the next issue

So as you can see, there is far too much unbiased, useful & neutral content in RC Car Action already, so daddy & I gave up.

We thought about doing a couple of cameo articles for RC Underground, but when we thought about it, RC is barely big enough for an "overground"?
