What? Like it matters. If you want the old thread then maybe you shouldnt be racing cars.

(just getting things rolling, lol)

This is gunna be soooooo fun!

I know what u mean smokin joe, and i think its because people are spending too much money on their cars that not doin well is a real slap in the face. The trick is to do well WITHOUT spending lots of money

hehehe there might be a element of truth in that! has anyone ever put pen2paper and calculated how much dough is in the pits of a combined elec/nitro meet?

if your not in it for the fun,......then really, there is no justification for taking part in this hobby is there.

IMAGINE IF THERE WAS MONEY/SPONSORSHIP/TROPHIES UP FOR GRABS! man this hobby would be competative!.....

actually there is sponsorship/trophies up for grabs! i just haven't been offered it yet! .....far out! it must be the competition then?! nah can't be.... DAMN IT I QUIT!

I think it would be good if there was a 'drivers class'. That is, a spec class, with spec motors, rubber tires (Spec tire), spec shell, spec batts (ie, you can get these yellow sanyo 1700 cells for like...5 or so bucks a cell), and so on. Mayb even lock the final ratio of the cars, just make it a fully equalised class. We could even start our own and if the numbers are there, they would have to take notice!

Just my two cents!

Lick my scrotum Atomix!
lol
Never said i was doin well! Which works for me i dont spend heaps.

Pretty much.........

Bet you dont hear that from a guy often
And no, not from many, just from the people that are sick of buying new cells everytime they come out, just for an extra 1/10 of a second a lap. Its getting stupid.
I know a few people at the clubs i race at would like to see a similar class to this start (just at the club) that they can compete in, and bring juniors into so that they can have good clean competitive racing without spending $$$$$.

Its meant to be fun.....If you got the money then by all means. But there are lots of people who cant justify the $$$ on these little cars.

Speed cost money.

Maybe a new hobby like knitting would better suit you?
