I know the OS is really popular but I was mentioned this one at my LHS and was looking for some feedback.
I use the TTR 2035 on the Ninja engine, and it works very well, it's the same as the associated pipe, except it's polished, and cheaper $$$. http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/4637

Wayne, good pipe, it's the same as the OS 2060, even the price is the same as the 2060, huh, it must be a 2060!

Just wanted to chime in and give another race report on my JX21. Motor has a little over 1/2 gallon and not borken in yet (still has metal pinch). Raced last Saturday and coming in after two 5min heats left about half tank of fuel left. Didn't choose right tires so got stuck in B-main (10min). Figures I have to be either 1st or 2nd to get bumped up so I went all out and told my pit guy I'm not gona come in for fuel in that 10min. Got 1st and made it through the whole 10mins and came in with about 2mm of fuel left in the tank. Overall got 5th place behind 3 factory driver and 1 local driver. Even with those results I'm very happy with this JX21. This is my new fav engine along side the Extech .21.

Hey guys,

My apologies for not getting the head buttons up on my website the other day. I have the head buttons but didn't want to add them to my website until I got an updated dyno graph from Ed. The graph I have also has other engine data on it from Ed. I just spoke to him and he is sending me a new graph of just the JX-21 with the Mugen JX 2042 (2060) pipe and "L" shaped header (bent header) before and after the EB Mod JX-21 head button.

As soon as I get the graph, I'll update my website and post back on here that the head buttons are in stock.

Best regards,

UPDATE!

EB Mods JX-21 head buttons are now in stock!

Here is the dyno graph of the JX-21 before and after the EB Mod JX-21 head button. The motor makes significantly more power across the entire RPM range. The motor was tested with the Mugen Ninja JX-21 2042 pipe (same as an OS 2060) and the Mugen Ninja JX-21 "L" bent shaped header. Part number on the pipe is Mugen part # JX15001 and the header is Mugen part # JX14002.

The EB Mod JX-21 Head Button will also fit the OS V-Spec and OS Speed engines.

Do not use the stock head shims with this modified head button. The EB Mod JX-21 head button only uses one 0.004" (0.1mm) copper head shim.

For those of you that want to trade up a NEW, un-used head button for the EB Mod JX-21 head button, you can send in your head buttons to the address posted on my website. Once I receive your head button, I will issue you a store credit via coupon code for $20 off your order.

Hey Tony I just placed an order on your site for the JX21 head button. The dyno graph was impressive just from a modded head button. Just 1 question Tony; is it ok to still run 30% with the 1 head shim from the kit?

Absolutely! The EB Mod JX-21 head button with one .004" (0.1mm) shim is set for 30% nitro fuel.

For those that want to send in their NEW unused stock head buttons, don't worry about placing the order for the EB Mod JX-21 head button until after I get the head button from you and email you the coupon code. I have a huge batch of more head buttons coming back next week and more after that.

Please email me at [email protected] that you sent me in your head button so I know it's coming.

Best regards,

Hey Tony,

I have a OS Speed currently running on the 6 gallon.

What difference will I get from the EB Mod JX-21 Head Button for my OS Speed?

You can almost overlay the graphs of the JX21 and Speed so the power difference from the EB Mod head button should be similar on the Speed.

JX,Speed, and V specs all use the same OS button..

The Speed will have the same exact positive affect, as the JX with the EB button. Look at the dyno graph posted in post #186.

Tony,

I have sent you an email about JX 21 head button purchase. I am in Melbourne Australia and keen to buy one from you 'Outright' and not 'Change Over' if it is possible.

I also want to buy an X-Ray 808 screw kit from you at the same time.

Just want to confirm shipping cost to me in Australia and that the head button is available Outright and that i dont need to send you a replacement new button to have modified.

Cheers,

Darren
