Also, all of these prototype engines used a gold head, and while Collari's looked like it had his name engraved in the upper fin of the cylinder head, it looked like it was done by hand and was probably not any different than the other engines that were clearly not "Collari Modifieds."
The presence of a gold head was a good thing if you were a Sirio team driver because it meant you were running what appeared to be the most powerful engine at this race, but it didn't mean anything with respect to the "version" of the engine. All of the prototypes had gold heads, and absent some hand engraving, all the engines appeared identical.
I can't wait to try one of these engines once the come out. It's been a long time since I've seen this type of innvation in engine design. I think it's been used in the past, but it's the first time it's been sucessfully incorported into a modern engine and it makes some very good power.
