Tamiya mini cooper

The competition seems to be hotting up in Mini for the Nsw titles at the weekend. I hope this continues for the Nationals, so we can have a strong representation to take on the Vics and the locals for the title.
Really looking forward to taking on Tony and his crew. We will see how good we really are!

Jeff,
I'll be just glad to meet them rc-mini crew in person, not through the computer. I better start looking for a couple of decent black cans and some batteries.
I will give you a call, have some info regarding setup for the weekend and yes I'm off to the track shortly for more practice.
My MO3L is on rails, so now need to sort the spare car. Striped the outdrive on the ball diff on Tues.
BTW,
Not happy, can't run old faithful body shell, otherwise it will meet the scissors.
Catch ya tomorrow.
Calvin.

Just finished my new swift body for this winter. what you think?

my phone pictures dont show it well, but the grey is actually carbon fiber and the outline of the flames changes from pinkish red to purpleish red.

MrLesac,
That body looks great.
Her's my trusty Mini,
A couple of pictures of OLD FAITHFUL that they don't want me to run at the State Titles. I'm not there to win concourse, "I'm there to be a contender".

Tony,
I have been informed that I have to paint up a couple of TC bodies and now a MIni shell before Saturday. Thank goodness for rattle cans and one colour paint schemes.
Later
Calvin.

guys...
i am just wondering....
1) its using larger 1/10 touring foam or rubber will have more speed compare using mini tyres with same motor config.
2) i notice my mini the left upright and left turnbuckle always damage due to its too near to the motor..any solutions on this? i broke my TRF blue turn buckle
3) in rc-mini.net many modified the rear camber link, any1 done the same for the front? what the measurement? advantages gain by able to change chamber in the front?

Heya Scott, how about this one?

http://active-hobby.com/ Go to product, bodies, mini, and have at 'er. There is a New Beetle shell, and a classic beetle slightly chopped sort of thing.
This is absolute proof that I spend waaaay too much time on the web looking for stuff.
