Artwork, let me know when you want a golf lesson.

Thanks!
well a lot of people did not really like that car, but I am sure you can make it work. A JRXS got second in the classic this weekend so I know it can work, but probably not the number one choice for me. I have two Xrays for sale on Ebay one rubber tire and one foam tire that are a lot cheaper then $169 .

this may ruffle a few feathers, but i have been doing alot of talking with alot of people, and here iswhat i have come up with.

1. our 2 day event should be later in the season. with all the carpet time we are going to gat this winter, the racing (in my opinion) will be most competitve at the end of the year.

2. very few of us are planning on hitting any out of town races except for omaha.

3. the best chance of getting some factory guys here (i have talked with x-ray, crc, and corrally) is to place the event before, but not too close to the carpet nats.

4. carpet nats will be the 3rd or 4th weekend of march. omaha will be the last weekend of feb.

5. although some of our guys are planning on hitting the omaha race, i really feel that our race should be the weekend before, that event. this will give the factory guys (if we get any) time off before nats, but will force our guys running omaha to run 2, 2 day races back to back. this may seem like alot of racing, but look at it this way......those who do go to omaha, will have plenty of wheel time to prep for the big one there.

just my opinion, what do you guys think.

SO if we can get Montana to move thier race to the week prior to Omaha, you could run three weekends and only take 2 weeks of vacation time!!

I could do this!!!

sorry, mark i had to edit my opinion. if we put our race before omaha, it will give the guys going down there the advantage. please see post 2312 for my revised opinion.

Knight Rida ... Mr. Darkside has agreeded to the proposal that you tossed to me at the classic. I let Rev know as well since there were two options.

I'm not sure what you are referring to... but that's fine. It's between Rev and the Darkside. Thanks Mark.

ok, so carpet nats go to the gate 18-22 of march. so if we put our 2 day race the week after omaha, that only leaves one week between it and nats, which makes our chances of getting any factory guys very slim. the race needs to be mid to late feb. i am thinking the 3rd weekend of feb.

It makes me happy to see you guys joining us on rubber tires! :-) It sounds like most guys are standardizing on Jaco blues (on prism wheels) to keep it fair. That's good news, spec rubber on carpet is sweet. I've got a couple of new sets I can let go of if someone needs 'em to get started. $30. I bought more than I needed at IIC.
