If you have already reached this point then id say its lean or your plug is on the way out ... You could also be having clutch shoe slipping ... but id try richening HSN first

Well that depends ... if the engine is a Go .21 pro engine it wont produce max top end till the 5 litre mark or for the imperially qualified, 1.5 US Gal .

Which plugs you recommend on the 7 and 5 port .21's ?, i mean, i usually have access to RB plugs and maybe P3 and P4 from OS.
Right now i can get odonnel stuff ... so, im between OS's, RB's and Odonnels ... what you think ?
thanks,

Good result for Go and Massive Mods at the Waikato Buggy Championship held in our North island city of Hamilton last weekend. This was a 3 day event held within the Super Special Stage of the WRC Rally event held here.
Field of 56, with all of the top drivers in the country competing.
Two Go engines finished in the top 5 (7 port in third place and 5 port in fifth place). Massive Mods A-Main fuel also taking third place.
Numerous other Go motors running A-Main fuel also placed well. The usual JX Ninja, RB, OS Speed, Novarossi's etc in the field, so a very good showing for Go. Both motors in the top 5 were stock standard Gen 3 and 4 turbo head models.

Hmmm - I think that might be Pauls motor your talking about. But if you want to send it to me I will certainly accept it
I would most definitely have room in my buggy for a MM Stage 5 of any model !!

Hey Adrian,
Got hold of a Go 2047 today for my 7 Port, and fitted the longer header off my 0801 like you suggested. IMPRESSIVE !!! Gobs of power but very smooth. Just pulls real hard from start to finish. Looking forward to trying on the track as soon as possible. Thanks for the tip

Hey grizz I think you might find that engine ending up in a 808 thats if I ever manage to kill my trusty 2 year old 7pt- but then again I might just get Mark to rebuild it
no worries on the tip it's been my preferred combo for awhile now

You did tell me your trusty motor was a Gen 1, but my head is still a bit fuzzy from 3 days of nitro fumes and rum rtd´s. That makes your efforts even more outstanding

Anyone who knocks Go motors should be reading this. Gen 1 7 Port, 2 years old, 11 + gallons, one set of bearings and a piston / sleeve - kicks butt over big dollar ¨name brand¨ motors. Good value for your dollar - I definitly think so

I agree with you 100%.
