AMB RC decoder

How wide is your loop
Also do you have a Mike or other Electrical cables running near the loop cable
At one of our big races we moved the announcers section and ran the mic cable up right next to the coax for the loop. We didn't realize it at the time but it was causing missed laps We found out about 6 months later when we talked to someone else and they had mentioned it
Hope some of this helps

Thank for the advice. the loop wide is standard around 12 inch to 14 inch.
and of course we have PA system near around 1.5 meter distant from decoder. PA system from loop cable is around 3 meter.
but every car passing beeb sound look like delay in half second .. car passing after half second the beep sound on.
Thanks ..

Could be a software issue.
I upgraded my rc decoder to a rc3,... everything worked fine. The following season I set everything up the week before my first race. I had a similar problem.. there was about a 4 - 5 second delay after the car crossed the line... I hadn't changed anything... or so I thought. Something had changed in the OS (windows). Called the writer of my software (Autoscore), and he told me I needed an update... emailed me the update and everything worked fine.
Might want to check it out.

Assuming you have the AMB RC2 decoder you may get it to work with serial cable (rs232) from decoder to serial on computer. Or a serial to USB adapter, that's serial port from decoder to USB port on computer.
