What is cool too is that Firestones were really big in racing in the 60's, so it's a total bonus with the D-Drive sheet.

At the local track you can see where the goodyear stickers have come off someones tires. I have thought of taking a paint can lid and making a stencil to maybe airbrush the white letters onto the tires. I have also thought the raised letters on the tires would look good painted. The HPI letters are almost Hoosier style.
But for a while the stickers look good.

thats what we did to a couple of my tires...took a white paint pen and just out line the hpi racing...it last longer than the sticker...it will wear off...but its an easy fix......

How is the durability with the CA glue? Is it just a little better or is it a whole lot better?

Beautiful Mustang! I'll take a guess and say the track is Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham, Alabama. I went to the Rolex Grand Am race there this summer and it was by far the most beautiful track I've seen. It looked more like a golf course than a race track.

This is my third body with a similar paint scheme. I already painted the #13 Black/Gold Camaro that another driver is using. I am driving a Blue/Silver Camaro on my TC3.

Wanted to try out some different color paints. This HPI '68 Camaro is painted with the following:
Model Master No.28140 Bright Platinum Metallic
Model Master No.28120 Fathom Green Metallic
Gold adhesive pinstripe (not paint)

I liked the way the green came out, but really didn't feel the platinum looked that much different from Indy Silver. If you compare side by side the platinum is slightly darker. Time to buy some more paint!
