Default 2103 vs 2013

I'm sorry if i missed it , is anyone running the actual Extech brand 2103? I was told to get the 2013 and ordered it but just found out it was supposed to be the Werks 2013 and not the Extech one. I'm told that even though some have the same #'s they are in fact different pipes and will run different.
This is what I ordered, should I change the elbow manifold or anything?

I have the stock motor and will need to break it in myself. It's going in an 808.
Thanks for any input.

You got the right pipe the Extech 2013 pipe is made for the engine and works excellent with the engine.

meakinracer - those setting are for our fuel. IF you use a fuel with more oil, it will have to be richened. Our fuel has 8% fuel. Thank you.

You only use 8% fuel? Man I'm surprised it runs at all, hahaha

Thats similiar to how I had to run my Extech. Paper settings were nowhere close for me using Odonnell 30% Race Blend. In the main I was pitting around the 6-6:30mark not knowing where I was on run time. I came in at 200 once the main was over. Super amounts of power still, but I can start to lean out now, since I know where I am with the motor. Not sure if the 053pipe is helping on run time or not, but it does feel very good on the track.

Someone had better bring one of these engines that run good to ETMR as I have YET to see one perform as stated !! Best milage I have seen is 7 minutes a tank and the power is nothing even close to a GRP or V-Spec or 421B Nova

Losi's and 808's are F'n BALLISTIC, Kyoshos' with Big bores are a close 3rd .

That would be me, Thx for the update, BackPain

Ran mine today at Wolcott Hobby, North East Super Series, Rd 2. Absolutely flawless I qual'd mid pack...I think 27th out of around 50-60? OK, I'm not a good driver :P. Anyway, I decided to take a gamble and not pit during my 10 min CMain, just for Gits n Shiggles to see if I could make it. I heard the anouncer say 9:30...then it went poop...lol. I am very, very pleased with that though. After the race, I checked the sheet to see where I ended up, it stopped timing me at 9:15, at least according to the papers...and I am pretty sure I dropped to 9th after it ran out of fuel. I probably would have finished 5 or 6th if I had pit.

Then your fellow racers need to learn how to tune, this past weekend at the Pro Series North Division final race I ran a 30 minute main only pitting twice and beating the field by a full two laps. When timing the motor Saturday night before the races on Sunday my truggy flamed out at 12:15 on the stop watch and temped at 236. Now under race conditions I'm sure I'm a little heavier on the throttle but I wouldn't sweat running 11 min before coming into pit.

thats still pretty average out of a 150ml tank if it was in a buggy 11min would be great i am only getting around 7.30 at about 115 deg c out of 125ml
thats the full mod ,i still like its smooth power delivery
