As for geting better run time that is a hard one i'm close to 10min but i'm runing the grp 2053 and geting around 9-9:30 we both are runing os p4 plugs and then colby got the best time we have yet it was with the nova 9853 with a 7 restrictor in it now i have the 8 in mine i have not tryed the 7 yet but we did not see much if any difference if any in power going to the 7 other then about 30sec. more run time. What plug are you runing i know that can make a big difference and for run time with the 086 pipe i do not rember but is was not like we are geting with the 2053 i can way as well the plug can make a big difference as well as the track we have ran at Rev and this past weekend at thunderalley on sat. testing and got about the same time at both tracks. Our engines were runing about the 180-190 range all day with out making any changes to them all day.

086 is a pretty fuel thirsty pipe. Try a 2013. Are other drivers getting that kind of mileage at your track? Some tracks use more fuel. Be smoother on the trigger. Go to a smaller venturi. Add a head shim. Drop the nitro percentage.

Often adding a shim or dropping nitro % can improve mileage without dropping horsepower as much as a smaller venturi will. Sometimes it's the other way around. Or do both for even more mileage. Or do none, run faster and make an extra stop.

Put a zip tie around the base of the carb boot this past weekend to see if it will help with the leaky carb issue. It did help out alot!!!!.
There is just slight residue now from the point where you adjust the low end. I will probably put some sealent around the boot end there to help it out.
I am running a Power Racing 053 pipe. Great power throughout, but run time isnt quite there yet. Motor still has alot of pinch though. It only has about 11-12tanks through it.

sirio BK7b or CB evo III ?
I rather drive a standard plug.... less hazzle generally
you just mount any nr 6 plug and it works
turbo sometimes not..just taking precausions
ok I will try the engine like it is
I have P3 turboplugs and a nr 7 nosram
which is best for std eb mods ??

P4!!!!P4!!!!....this is by far the less "moody" plug (at least in S. Florida where its 90+ degrees and 95%+ humidity(why do we evan race in weather like that is a whole other story!). I have tried the extech #5 and the engine just sputters and shuts down when you give it any kind of throttle vs. the P4, which the engine just loves.....

IMO turbo plugs are much better. The only problem with them is that on road uses only cold plugs (7's and 8's) so a lot of people run them in off road too and have problems. Most off road motors will prefer a hotter plug. 5 or 6.
I would only use a Sirio based plug. The Mugen Ninja plug is fantastic but they may be going to OS plugs soon so stick with Sirio or Trinity plugs.
Most of all, pick a plug brand and stick with it. One companies 6 is not always the same as another companies 6.
