Default help with binding/unbinding

i have a futaba 3pks with the spektrum sm1000module
and im trying to bind this remote to the recievers binded to an old spektrum dx3
several questions:

can you unbind or do you just bind to another remote?

when i try to bind the reciever to my 3pks the lights will flash and then my b44 will just start accellerating like crazy

You don't need to unbind. Just follow the binding instructions and it should work.

Turn off car & Tx. Press and hold bind button on Rx, turn on car's power. Light will blink...nothing else should be happening with the car. Press & hold bind button on Tx. Turn on Tx...light will flash. Once light is solid the Tx & Rx are bound.

You may need to adjust your throttle trim settings. Best to start with them at neutral. Also, when you turn on your Tx in the bind process make sure you have your finger on the brake, this will set your failsafe.

After changing radios you can reset the speed control to that radio, that should take care of the throttle issue. And adjust your steering endpoints. Every radio is a little different, especially if you jump brands.

you need communication with the radio Skip or else you can not program the speed control.

hey man, i guess you can see i got the controller.

ok so the speed control has to be plugged in to the reciver, but if i put it on the throttle and turn it on the car goes off like crazy without pulling the trigger

should i just take off the tires and program it while its going full throttle?

you have to hold the esc set button before turning on the car, this will not allow the car to move and will automatically enter into program mode
