Has anyone degreed out the new crank? I would be curious to know if it has the same timing as a Picco crank or not.

I know it's a CRF crank. I'm curious to know if the CRF's port timing is the same as a Picco crank.

Says someone with a Kyosho icon under his name.....

I think there is a lot of work to be done, the current worlds in Portugal is a nice way to find out if the Orion is OK....

I hope they don't have the rod issue the rest of the picco line has. Thats the only big problem the picco based motors have.

What Picco's are blowing rods ? I run them in offroad and have had zero issues... in fact I have blown Sirio's and GRP's but the Picco's are as solid as a rock..... faster then all the others as well

The on-road .21's had some issues around the time of the Serpent deal but they seem to have them straight now. I also recall seeing a rash of .12's throwing rods left and right but that was many years ago.

We had one running at a race today and it was not the slightest bit faster than the regular Picco Evo 3's, jut € 50 more expensive...

Try running a Red Dot 12. or a IDM 12.for a little more then 3/4 gallon. Myself and 3 others here in Fl. have had them expire before 1 gallon of fuel. Yes,, we know how to tune a motor. I AM NOT BASHING THESE MOTORS, just hoping the issue will get fixed. thats why most of your LHS tell u to replace the rod before a gallon.

It's becoming common practice to replace rods after break in with all motors. Sure with some motors you can get by without doing it but it's still a good idea. Break in really puts a strain on the rod.
