Uriah puts out some of the fastest, most reliable modified motors. People world wide use his motor with great success!

R3RC shipped

Anybody know the part number for the .1mm shims? I check the rb website but the part numbers on the documentation don't match up to part numbers at the online stores.

what's an INS box for? Is it just to reduce noise?

Is losing the pinch in a engine necessarily a bad thing?

Yes, it's purpose is just to reduce noise. It also acts like a slightly smaller venturi so it will improve mileage at the expense of a small amount of power.

Not necessarily bad. Most well run Nova based motors will have a bit of pinch when cold but little or none when hot and still run strong. I have had some Sirio based motors with no pinch whatsoever that still screamed. I also had a plus 35 with pinch from hell and could never get it to free up. Still ran good though.

Usually motors will get difficult to tune and not want to idle well when they finally wear out completely. If it still holds a tune and runs strong, keep running it.

I got my R3RC today and I'm looking in the back and I can see some kind of moisture in when I move the piston up. It starts bubbling whatever is in there and I can see it flowing down the piston. Is this normal?

Yes that's just a light assembly lube. Keeps corrosion away and lubes the motor for start up.
