As far as ver.2 better for lightweight...i cant afford to be replacing the spool and CVDs because of the high amount of wear due to weak aluminum of the ver.2 spool. I had it, didnt like it.
you can change new driver cup !

Although it seems you have to spend a lot of money on cells if you are a top driver (NOT MY PROBLEM!!!! :P )
two lipo's and you're set for the year. 5cell may be slightly better on wear and tear of the car but I've also seen guys dump after running their batteries pretty hard. The same guys can run a well used 6 cell battery and make runtime using the same motor they dumped in 5 cell with. I guess it really comes down to personal preference but I'm really happy with my lipo's.

Yeah 5 cell hammers the batteries pretty hard. Although one other advantage is that the throttle power isnt so abrupt which is good for me
I just need someone to develop a 1 and 2/3 cell lipo for me :P

Bugger, yeah those muchmore rims are very brittle. Ive seen that happen many times
Good tires a touch soft but ultra grippy straight out of the packet.

RC Market: are those the new 67731 POM axle cups? Do you mean they fit both V.2 spool and the new one-way/spool?

what track temps are you running the tire's at? When we tested them in the hot weather for the Reedy handout tire they didn't hold up too well. They were shreded in one run and done. I'm curious to know if they changed compounds or these tire work in cooler temps.
