You can even try taking out the centre brace between the rear motor mount and battery side bulkhead for some extre rear grip.

Are you sure you have the correct size ceramic balls? I use ceramic diff balls and mine works great. Have you over tightened the diff? Maybe you stripped the diff nut? Pull it apart and have a look in the diff nut with a torch and see if the threads are all right.

Take Care,
Cheers, Patrick

Hey i have noticed you dont have the belt tensioner on, i would suggest running it as the belt will most likely spit off.

Guys,

Have been trying to reduce oversteer. Made some changes and did some testing today, tried changes as recommended, also some others.

Best result came from increasing the ackerman angle
Also extra rear toe in (now have 2.5 deg) and harder front springs assisted.
Car feels pretty balanced now .. but also has lots of steering

Still don't have sway bars for the PHI, but will get them. I anticipate that I will be able to revert to the 17lb front springs then (have same al round as per kit).

Thanks for your help and comments guys

Cheers

Alan

mate i havent run one for ages and so far so good no problems what so ever and it creates less friction which is a plus

also running a diff at the front and it handles sweet!!! just got to stop hitting the barriers

A question is there any advantage in running the c-hubs on the oppisite side?
Just brought a second hand phi and they have the left hub on the right hand side and so on.

Default bump steer

Guys,

I was checking out the US Phi thread, there is a lot of talk about bump steer.

Apparently it bumps "in" & factory drivers are shimming the steering under the upper deck to eliminate.

Posts suggest it's more of an issue on "rubber / asphalt" set ups than for foam.

Has anyone experienced issues with bump steer ..... if so how have you solved it

Thanks

MMM i believe you should just maybe put your car back to kit setup and start out with everything kit with about 4 droop front 3 rear
