At Club level I run 13.5 brushless(Castle Hill & Windsor). Although I might start experimenting with 10.5 brushless later this year.

For Challenge Cup I'll continue to run in 27T stock, next year's Cup might run 10.5 brushless .

They would be one of the best all round cars, great reliabilty, great race results, great parts backup, and customer service backup, and the car just doesnt wear out either and very very strong. Dont worry you got a great car.

Thanks for that puts my mind at rest.
What would be the best setup to start with the one in the book or have you got a better one?The track is a medium to low grip but a fairly flowing track.

mate like simon said you wont find anything better!!!!
i have tried all different brands and chassis, then one day i decided to buy and RDX.....from the get-go i had the confidence to drive the car the way i wanted without much setup changes from std...then when i found out the PHI was coming out i just had to have one....

i gave my RDX to my mate and now he is up to the top of his class just after a couple of meets and he had'nt raced for 7 years

HAPPY RACING!!!!!!

Default PUTTING TRF SHOCK ON THE PHI

Hi Guys need your help,

I am in the process of putting TRF shocks on my PHI, are there any tips or mods needed to do on the shock before putting them on or are they a standard fit?

Thanks

Hi,

Use the Corally shock ends and spring retainers, this will give you the full range of ride height and droop adjustments regardless of your shock positions and settings on the arms and Tower. Also, this allows you to use the Corally mounting hardware on the arms. As far as the top goes, use the Tamiya stuff, you will need Tamiya mounting hardware also.

You should find a range of springs will work (AE, HPI, Corally & Excel) using this combo. Most guys are using the abovementioned springs.

Cheers
