Default Handing problems PHI

Guys, have a handling problem with my Phi & would appreciate your advice.

Main issues are:
1) Major oversteer - middle of fast corners (on & off throttle).
2) Poor stability with quick direction changes - again oversteering.

Have tried various combinations, but just can't seem to get rid of the oversteer

Have attached pdf of my latest set up, would appreciate any guidance

Cheers

Alan

Alan, try this:

1. Lay top of shocks in one hole front & rear. (i have never run the fronts where you have them).
2. Bump up the rear shock oil 5wt from 25 to 30wt. (i usually run a maximum of 5wt split Fr to Rr)
3. Try a soft Front sway bar (Silver).
4. Lengthen the rear wheel base back to the middle.

Try the above in order one at a time. Let us know how you go.

All those parts are "musts" in my book. The diff is a vast improvement and going to the lipo tray with the SMC 5000 lipo improved my lap times towards the end of a race. Cheers!

I decided to give the Phi another go.

The kit arrived today but ill hold off building it until my hex screws, alloy spool, TRF Shocks, alloy knuckles and what not arrive.

First run will be Fridays practice at Summer Nats, so does anyone have a set up for the IMCC track?

Also any tips for building the 08 diffs? Since the older ones needed some changing to them to get them smoother.

Thanks

Alex....

Are you planning on running a 1-Way or Spool?
I assume 17.5 is the class of choice?

The 08 diffs will build up very smooth when built to the instructions, no special tricks needed.

For Summer Nats im planning on running 17.5. But may also change my mind and run 10.5, so im not 100% sure yet. After the Nats it will be 10.5.

I plan on running the spool to start with but may change to one way if needed.
