What is the life span for the 7 port? And what is the price range for the piston & sleeve, rod?

I can't speak for all the GO owners, but our test modded 7 port whent 9 gallons, it still runs on all original parts, has just lost what it once was, but i have heard between 6 and 9 gallons from guys that race them pretty hard, this was the numberone thing that turned me on to GO motors, and the price is unbeatable, P/S/R sets are about 90 to 100, depending where you get them.

No worries grizz take your time it's my spare pipe and I'm not doing any track time for a while need a break the Nats where pretty intence and the body brain and cars all need a well deserved break.

I'd give the .21 5pt turbo with a 053 or 2047 pipe or the .28 6port with the 2047 pipe both engines will work really well in the truggy.

our 5 port turbo's are getting 10+ a tank in buggy, the CRT should get close, the .28 is getting about a min or so less, the 5 ports are pretty bad in truggy, but the 5 ports are my fav so i tend to stick with them, although i'm running one of my 7 port turbo's in buggy now

is the GO 2047 available here in the states? if so, where can i get one.

they will be very soon...you can get one at any of the online shops or LHS that carry Go engines and gear...if there not listing it just ask for it...

Isn't the JP4 pipe 2047? Would it be just as good?

as far as i know no its not, but i could be wrong...if you are in the market to buy a pipe for a Go engine then i would just buy the 2047...

tight-medium ones, so probably the 5-port.

well thats not forsure...what is the surface like loose and loomy, high bite and tacky??? if the track is a high bite track i would go with the 5port, but if the surface is very loomy or slippery the 7port would be better for tire spin control...
