Default My mystake.

Ooops, yes. Typo last time sorry !!
1476 is with a 6 cell pack.

On the "Who will be supporting the car in the U.S" question. That does depend on TM Model and TMA Marketing & Distribution.

But one thing is for certain, I will be!
So there will be kits and parts to support the kits too when it is released.
None of this kits and no parts senario any more.
So no worries there, ok.

Yeah me too.

I HATE hacking into cars, i just think its unheard off.

So i seriously hope Nick Ko tells me (us) Orion carbon lipo or even Trakpowers 4900 fit.

I really like this car and the new concepts it has.

This car looks very cool. My main concern is those suspension arms. It seems to me that that center aluminum rod would bend with a good hit tweaking the suspension as aluminum won't bend back as the composite.

If you want to install the lipo, just add some washers under the top deck and middle top deck mount to raise the height. However, I don't promise all lipo pack can be used since they are of quite different sizes.

Oh dear.
Putting a couple of washers here and there too much for you??

Just kidding......but it is odd how we are all prepared to change our cars for "tuning reasons" or something that we think will make the car better but frown on a couple of washers added to make a Li-Po fit. ??

My view is that TM should have a Li-Po fitting Kit. Because Li-Po is the future! Doesn't really matter if it's legal or not. It will be legal soon. And sooner the better.
Get rid of the old, bring in the new.
Old, antiquated classes with brushed motors and NiMh batteries are fast going out. A new car should accept the new Li-Po's and brushless systems!!

That's what I say.

But it looks as though alot of the Li-Po batteries will fit in the cars stock state with the addition of a few "REALLY DIFFICULT" to fit washers.

Maybe the more adventurous and inventive of us out there will figure out a way to fit larger Li-Po batteries in the car.

Don't you think that should be Team Magic to do that Nikko??

Either way, the car looks like a real racer and a very cool looking and inovative designed car.

I think you'll find the hinge pins are not aluminium, but Stainless Steel.
Probably the same as on the G4 gas car or similar.
These pins don't bend very easily at all !! Infact in 6 years of racing Team Magic cars I have only bent two, (I think )
They are much much stronger then the composite crap you see on allot of cars and the flying wing arms are very strong and durable too.

Believe me, the hinge pin area is probably going to be one of the cars strong areas !!
