FB/FX - Yes we will always have the the club / ROAR sign up at all events. YOUR JOB....

Tim had talked me earlier and I had told him the same.

We will need to keep track of aniversary dates for renewal of club dues and confirm ROAR dues.

After the race in Denver on the 14th, is there some place that we can leave the trailer prior to starting at Arapahoe County. Don't really want to haul it back and forth. Still looking for a 14' enclosed / open trailer.

Anyone need a 10'6"?? nice trailer, just to short for the carpet.

If they do not join the club, they need a ROAR membership card, if not they can join ROAR at the track for $30 , plus $30 to race.

So the cost would be:
$30 for Current ROAR member (must have the card with them)
$60 if they have to join ROAR
$115 if they join the club

Grenade,

I probably missed this on someone's post, BUT, how much is a carpet race for a club member with a roar membership?
Just curious.

Grenade,
Am I reading this correctly? Is a regular race for a member with a roar membership 30.00?

Update for all you carpet MUNCHERS!!

CRC sent me an update that the carpet should be to them by the 1st of October, and then should be to my warehouse by the 10th - 14th depending on how it ships out. My gues closer to the 10th, as our stuff is a special size!!

I also talked with them on the dia. of each roll. There best guess would be 10-11", so if we got 10 cason tubes 12" x 13' we could epoxy the exterior and make a weather proof holder. This would also make sure that even in the enclosed trailer the carpet does not get wrinkles.

Any concrete or construction people who could price this out??

I also have registered the BnB Autoscore with them and have paid $57 to get the current update on software, which will also allow us to run on a better lap top until we think it is time to purchase RC Scoring Pro.

The next piece that we need is an enclosed trailer or a way to cover an open trailer to put the carpet and barriers in. I have found that some 12' trailers are slightly over 12' inside, so we do not need a 14' trailer.

I also located a trailer on Craigs list that may fit the bill and he is looking for an open trailer!! I'm not sure that I can cover the difference out of my pocket but I'll see what I can get worked out. My guess $1000 - $1500 range.

So please keep looking for trailer options.

Hey Race Fans,
I'm going to be sending out a ballot with a couple things that the club needs to vote on. I'd like to do it entirely by e-mail although I know of 1 member that does not have an e-mail address. There some others that we don't have e-mail addresses for. They are;

Scott Bett
Steve Foley
Bob Foster
Jim Hiller
Gary Jones
Jason Willener

Also, to keep things up to date, I need a mailing address for Mike Starnes.

You can PM or e-mail me at [email protected] with the information.

If I can't get e-mail addresses, I can go the snail mail route.

Thanks,
Doug

PRC - Way get get started on the vote!!!

Let me know if you need info on Mike Starnes and Steve Folle, as I thinks that I have it on the Winter 1/12 scale points sheet.

I stopped by Arapahoe County today and talked with them on the space and dates. I should have the form to complete the transaction in my e-mail at the office.

Two items came up today. If we are interest, we could rent the space on Nov 10 and set up early in the afternoon. Maybe some practice in the afternoon and evening. Cost $280. The club could cover this and it be free to all club members even if they do not racar on Sunday. We need to move the March 9th date as they realized they scheduled an other function for the weekend. The other event is a national meeting for two days. So we can move to the 2nd or the 16th. I think the 16th would be better, but this is POSSIBLY the date for the 1/12 scale nationals in Omaha if they get them.

We also have reserved the 28, 29 and 30th for the end of season race and "5th Hobby Town Classic" IF they cover the rent for the 3 days/
