I race with a guy who has a stock 7 port and he's getting about 7:45 using a JP3. Even with modding and an 053 I will not believe claims of 10 mins with this motor. 8:30-9 mins sure.

With the 7prt restricted on a small track 10min. may be difficult, If you have the 053 run that pipe it is a perfect match for the 7port, much better than the jp-3

I love my Go 5 port engine ! i have run it in my Hyper 8 the whole summer now and im very pleased. I run it with a Dynamite 086 pipe and i get around 7 minutes on a tank.

Next summer im getting a truggy, and i already know ill be getting another Go engine for that one.

Ooh, did i mention the great customer service at racefactory from Russel ? Outstanding !

Yup Russ is TA Man! Not only do GO engines kick butt, the fact that Russ stands behind his engines and is also willing to personally answer questions makes GO engines a no brainer...

+1
I have the good fortune of racing with Russel and he spent some time personally helping tune my new 5port and answering questions at the track and online via pm. Thanks Russel for all your help!

My Go .21 5 port arrived today and I actually picked up the Go .28 6 port. Both came with a spare shim, should I install them for 30% fuel? Also, what pipe is good for the .28? I have two RB2045 systems only.

Thanks.

the 2045 will prolly be good pipe for a 7 port but for the 5 ports. u might want to try a jp1 or and 053 pipes...

well guys I've been running a 7 port for quite a while now and love it and I've just got an 8T and I'm putting 1 in that to the only thing I don't like is that the cooling heads are abit weak and the fins seem to come loose.

as I posted earlier I've tried several pipe combo's with the 7 port (turbo) and my pipe of chioce for overall performance is the Hong Nor 2047 best fuel economy I found for power output. the 053 was pretty good also but abit to thirsty -JP1 was good but lacked a little top end and the TT 2035 with a short header was suprisingly good also

I'm looking at trying some novarossi pipes next so will let you now how they 'GO'

Adrian

If you break a stock head get a B-Mods head. I find it hard to believe that you can break a fin off a head but I've not seen you drive.

well it's not that hard to break off fins on the Go tech cooling head as they have lightened them a fair bit. I don't know wheather they have upgraded them since I brought mine as I've have mine for quite a while (it's done about 9-10 gallons and is still on it's original internals).

I have actually had fins on 2 heads come loose the original gold head and the silver 5port that i replaced it with, I also know of at least 8 others that have had the same problem.

As for my driving I'm currently ranked top 10 in my country

um.... thats the only one i can recommend .. this pipe was made for the Go !
We changed over from the HN range of pipes .. which were good , but the LRP 2063 is a monster !

We like the LRP Turbo plug #6 and the Go Tech #5
are the prices on your site US or AUS dollars?
