Sirio engines thread

Uhm... if are like the ones being used on the European Championship... I could say that are Aluminium heads, the unique is that are drilled to be lighter, but not Magnesium.

"Commenting on the new magnesium head from Sirio which he ran in the 2nd and 3rd sessions Groskamp said, ‘It felt actually really really good. I talk later with Sirio and see what we are going to do with the head but it was really good. Tomorrow we are going to try it again."
And a pic:

what size track are you running on and what level of traction/
If you run on a large trrack with med - high traction you could try a 1mm -1.2 mm on the clutch spring and .4mm -.5mm endplay using the Mike Swager clutch building method with either 17/ 23 pinions or if the track is really big 18/ 24 pinions will work.
This engine has loads of power and revs so try a couple of different combos and see what works for you best.

If you are traction rolling then try checking the front track with as if you run under 198mm in width widen it up a mm or 2 as this will help keep it on it's wheels

Hi All,
Is the piston/rod/liner set for the Evo II worlds still available as i have one in need of a rebuild.
Is the Evo III piston/liner/rod set compatible with the Worlds Evo II?

Not sure of the piston and sleeve questions but here is the website. Not much help here. I was PM'ing another user here for a manual. If I get it I will post it here.

Hi guys just picked myself a S12T3ISTI
am curious to know what a good pipe is to go with this engine? at club meets I race on a reasonably small track but each month take a trip to a larger track with 66m backstraight so any suggestions appreciated.
Cheers.

With the proper gearing and clutch, you could be really well on such different tracks. 66meters of backstraight is not much at all, enough to clear the crankcase from excess of fuel.

Sirio 2611... Don't settle for other things... no matter what they tell you. No one better than Sirio to release a pipe who suits the best for your Sirio engine.
