Which Rx?
If DCX, you need to use Hitec Dual Conversion X'tals.

You can use either a DCX(Dual Conversion) or a HFS-03MM(single conversion). With the DCX you will need specific DCX crystals. The HFS should work with Futaba crystals. If you have no crystals or Rx's yet, I suggest the DCX. Much stronger filtering. TTYL.

No, you unfortunately can't use Futaba crystals with the DCX. The DCX reciever has a dual conversion, filter thingee-magig. It kind of 'reads' or 'filters' the signal from the Tx twice, so that glitching is reduced over a single conversion Rx.

It works well, but if crystals are a big problem, then as Gary said, the HFS-03MM should be what you look for.

Personally, just order a bunch of crytals at one time.
