Just checked, and about 75% of the source files are missing from the home server.. As to why that is I don't know.

However, by the time most people read this they should all be uploaded there again (I hope) although it's going to take a little while given the sheer amount of stuff that needs to be reloaded.

All fixed...

Although anyone who has anything other than the 'welcome' page (http://www.rc-mini.net) bookmarked will find that it no longer works.

I took the opportunity to reload a new (although it still looks the same) site completely so old bookmarks wont work.... But the site itself is back online again.

Default TA03 DIFF

Recently replaced the Manta Ray Diff w/ a TA03 Diff. Usually, the diff is tightened until it stops - then backed-up 90 degress. The TA03 keeps breaking loose. Does anybody have any recommedations???

Thanks, was thinking about doing the same, but the ball diffs turning appears to be better w/ my style of driving. I think i'll keep trying to work w/ the TA-03 Diff.

Thank you for the advice. Let me try it turned tight. When turned tight, do you still use the ball diff grease supplied by Tamiya? If so, how much do you stuff inside the diff w/ the grease? I heard some people stuff the heck out of the diff w/ the grease??? What do you think?

Clean the diff screw threads with solvent, let dry, then use a little rubber cement or shoo goo on the threads when you put it back together. No more backee-outee!!!

My diffs are built by the book, with standard Tamiya grease. AllI do is tighten the crap out of em.

As for the stuffing, thats for gear diffs. Works OK until it all leaks out..which it usually does!

I run the kit diff with 5 to 6 shims in it till it's tight as it can get very lil diff action ....btw in a M03r

*Thank you for the advice. Tested the M03 this weekend, w/ the diff tightened as much as possible. It works great! Although, the diff is tightened all the way, didn't feel any difference w/ the handling.

Please let me know. What is the benefit of placing the 5~6 shims inside the gear diff?
