run time
#16
Okay, I believe that i have found the reason why i have been getting such long runtime. When i built my X SS i put the throttle return spring on the carb, i have a JR z270 throttle servo. I couldnt get wide open throttle with the set up. After i ran it today i noticed it, and realized that for god knows how long its been like that. I took the throttle return spring off, hell i rarely and i mean very rarely have runaways, and now i am getting 100% full throttle. Afterwords i ran it and now i am only getting about 10-12 mins of runtime.

No not really, mine is usually goin balls to the wall hard on the brakes, turn it back around, nail the throttle again, wheelies so hard it lands on the damn roof, take the mad full sprint dash to put the truck back on the wheels, feather into the throttle again and go balls to the wall. Repeat, and repeat some more. For right around 20 mins lol.
