Ran my VR12+ on my Mega DSII and Palmaris PR12 this weekend at the 1st round of the nats and have to say it makes the other pipes look stupid.
I found it to have a much broader powerband and was definately better on fuel consumption. The pipe is strong and took a lot of punishment.
My JP and Mega pipes are relagated to spares.
On my PR12 found the engine response on the bottom was much better than the JP2620 and seemed to run smoother through to top end.
Very happy with it

I didn't have a chance to try the VR12 Plus today, so I was wondering if anyone has run the VR12 Plus with an STI and how it compares to the Novarossi and Sirio pipes. It would also be helpful if you could share what head clearance, % nitro and plug you are using.

Thanks!
Both pipes are really good. It would be tough for me to choose. I just recently switched to the Sirio pipe, but as far as I can tell they have their pos. and neg. I have different results from Walt, but our clutch settings are very different. Sirio= lost some bottom but you can fix with gearing and clutch setting, but the top end is real fast. Since it is made for the STI(sirio engines) the pipe lets the engine breath and increases the rev's. VR12= more bottom end with good top end speed. This pipe has a very smooth power band and like Walt said, is easy on fuel milage. Hope this helps.

Thanks Mark. I need more bottom end than top end - and like always, the VR12 Plus delivers.

I need new header for my pipe again
the pipe is too tough that all the impact goes to the header

You might want to try PMing or calling Winner's Circle:

Yes, the Nova Rossi headers will fit the VR 12 PLUS pipes.
