The Skyline VR12 Plus continues to be my pipe of choice and I'm running it with my WASP CRF and TZ. I just starting running the Sirio Evo3 STI and most of the recommendations were to run it with either the Novarossi 2630 or Sirio 2611. I didn't have a chance to try the VR12 Plus today, so I was wondering if anyone has run the VR12 Plus with an STI and how it compares to the Novarossi and Sirio pipes. It would also be helpful if you could share what head clearance, % nitro and plug you are using.

Thanks!

Mark Cruz from kyosho has used this combo. I think Marco Acosta also used sirio w/vr12 plus in the nats, both were in the A main so I would assume its a pretty good combo.

I like this combo, it worked really good for me. The difference I noticed is that with Sirio pipe you have more bottom end but the running time is really tight, with the VR12-Plus you get a little less bottom end but you have better run time. On top end they are about the same.
I picked this combo when I ran the Nationals (outlaw class) and got 2nd place.
I ran #7 Sirio glow plug with 0.3 mm head shims with 30% nitro.

Rainer,
It works really good, I just broke in a Sirio last week and it's proven to be a REALLY FAST motor.

Thanks Walter. Thanks Peter. Looks like I'll have to pickup another Skyline pipe.

Actually make that 3 more. I need a couple of spares.
