For buggy tires, crimefighters, bowties and Panther KII's are all working very well. Truck guys are liking the bow ties (truggy).

Sunday was awesome.
Thanks Brian for letting us race while you were out of town(wish you were there) and Thank you Stuart for being there and getting things ready for a great race day and Thank you Erik for race directing.

We had 10th scale electric and 1 nitro(good racing),Truggy class(thanks for kicking my you know what Jeremy-we did have a good battle for most of the main) and 2 heats of fast 1/8th scale Buggys(Josh just getting Erik by 1 sec.)

I as always had a great time at the Rockpile and look forward to racing there as much as I can!

We've had great racing on Sundays. Good turnout and a quick program. The track is great to race on. Nice location with green grass everywhere there isn't track. I have not been to a nicer place to race.

We had some great racing today despite a wet beginning. Rain pushed back our normal noon start time and we decided to run two qualifiers and a main. By the time we got underway the track was tacky and only a little wet in spots. Qualifying was fast (two heats of 1/8 buggy and one of truggy) and we saw several sub 30s laps from Josh and Erik. Everyone flew and anything less than a fast 10 lap run would not get into the A (I posted a 10/5:17 and was second to last qualifier in the A!). By the time we ran the mains the track was just about perfect! traction was high, there was no mud and while there was rough areas in the turns it was super fun to drive on. Well worth the wait.

I had alot of fun racing today after the wet falling stuff stopped.
Fast group of 1/8th scales today-All A-main qulifiers and at least one in the B had 10 laps(that is alot of fast racers).
The traction was amazing and personal bests and lap records were being rewritten all day long!
Thanks for coming and WE were very lucky to get such a nice break in the weather for all the kick butt racing that went down today.
Thanks Brian,Stuart Erik and all the brave souls who helped sweep the track dry and risked it all Marshalling in the off track mud puddles.

Racing this Sunday at the Rock Pile?
Angie won't have the kitchen open.
It's going to be hot, and steamy, So make sure you bring plenty of cold water.
And have fun.

Sunday the weather was nice and the races were close.

In Monster Truck Brian R. was T.Q. but after a long fought out battle in the Main Thomas H. took the Win(They were neck and neck Brian spun Thomas then waited and flamed out at the end).
There were not enough 10th scales so Bob W. raced his 10th scale 4wd buggy with the much larger Monster trucks and did well through the day.

In Truggy the always fast Jeremy W. took T.Q. but had to earn the Win in the main.
Jeremy W. Bob H.(me) and John C. were all in the hunt for the win from start to finish.
Jeremy shot past me on the last corner in the last 1-2 feet before the line to take the big "W" by .1 sec. (Just when I was thinking I was going to beat him)!
In 1/8th Scale Buggy Josh S. took the T.Q. from Erik J. in the last round of qualifing with an 11 lapper!
there were 2 heats of very fast 1/8th scales.
All but 1 1/8th scale guy qualified with 10 laps or better(Josh was the only 11)!
B- Main was all about surviving and David S. and Matt M. did just that.
David S. took the Big "W" and went on to the A-Main.
David was running strong in the A-until a wheel fell off.
T.Q. Josh S. was all on his own out front for the whole race.
Erik J. had a rare no show (due to something wrong with buggy) Jeremy W. was a solid 2nd and Tim M. and John W.(electric 1/8th scale) battled for 3rd the whole race till Tim had a problem and retired from the race giving 3rd to John!
After the racing David B. brought out his Huge Hpi "Gas" buggy and let most everyone give it a try.
It has alot of power(low end watch out) and can make a lap around the Rock Pile pretty well.
One of the pictures Shows Tim M. driving It!
Thanks to all for the watering and great racing and Thanks Brian once again for having us and for helping me anounce!

Looks like there aren't any series races or nearby this weekend. Let's get a big crowd out to the Rockpile this Sunday. I haven't been in a few weeks and I am starting to itch.
