Agreed, The Rockpile was amazing! I was loving the 20 minute A-main until my CVD let go with 4:30 mins. left! So, in hindsight, a 15 min. main would've been better.

As always, The Roberts family were gracious hosts. Thanks to them.

Thanks to all of you who came out yesterday.
The Midwest Nitrocross guys,Everyone who Raced at the Nitrofarm the day before and everyone else.
Other than running out of Daylight at the end, everything went very good and all of you were a joy to work with and the racing was alot of fun!
We had more than doulbe the racers of our best week this year and almost tripple of some weeks this year.
We use to get big numbers but with all the awesome tracks both in Wisconsin and Northern Ill. I understand why people travel around to race at all the great tracks we are so lucky to have.
10-15 years ago you would have to live in California to see so many tracks but for now we have 8 or more outdoor offroad tracks within 3 hours of each other(most within 1-2 hours).
Now all we need is more exposure to the hobby and more racers for all of these tracks to survive.
We were happy to host The Midwest Nitrocross race and would like to thank Matt for all of his work that he does for the Nitrocross Racers.
I unfortunatly have run out of vacation days at work and must go back to working on Sundays so my season at the Rockpile is over till next year.
I do not know if Brian will have help to keep us racing at the Rockpile for any or many more weeks so I do not know if there will be any more Sundays but if there will I'm sure it will be posted here.
I have had a fun summer Racing and racedirecting at the Rockpile and having the priviledge to be able to race at The Nitrofarm,Monroe and for the first time at Reedsburg(all very nice tracks!)
Congratulations To all the Top qualifiers and all of the Winners and Great job Geo for not just winning but being able to See you'r Buggy in the Dark.
I'll see you at the Rockpile next year!

Sadly, the tracks out here are now few and far between with property costs so high. I wish we had a Rockpile out here, or a Trackside. We got nothin'

Futureal, you'ld further appreciate that statement if you ever had the great pleasure of racing at The Rockpile. The dirt is second to none on the planet for outdoor. It's like velvet.... Smooth and it just feels sooooo good!

We will keep racing at the Rockpile till people quit showing up to race, or Oct 28th. whichever comes first.

We hope to be in the indoor track by then also.

Anybody racing Sunday?
Got fuel left?
Could be the last day for outdoor.
No word for sure on indoor track yet, waiting for a lease to get signed.

I hate to be annoying and all, but is there any progress on the indoor scene?

Are we gonna go the opposite direction on "The Rockpile" this coming season? Damn, I'm already anxious to race there again! 7 month's indoor at Leisure Hours is just too long.

Sort of, I had to move some rocks & a bunch of dirt to let it settle over the winter, I think we'll call it the Bow Tie Crossover. Still working on the rest of the layout.
