i havent tried the checkpoint in my 1/12th yet but it sounds just a tad high.i would start at a 88/35.if you feel it can use more gear, throw it on.

Hey RLMW VQ,

Your Pretty Close with the gearing 31/32/33 and 34 100 should put you in th ballpark.
Set your motor up like this
F-Brush
Green Spring on Pos + Green Spring on Negative
That should dot it for the motor.

P2 said the motor was fast, boy was it. It even hadsome torque to it. I was very impressed with the motor. I ended being a lap down from P2 in the main. I expected comm wear to be alittle more than it was. I could of gone up one more tooth from the 31t pinion that I ran all day. The KD was ballistic for a 19 turn motor that I ever seen run. I would like to thank you guys for the information on setting up the motor.

Hey, this rivalary is between David and I. A person is allowed to talk smack to his rival, that is what makes things fun. I know that I have no chance in HELL to be in the same league of a driver as you (Tim) and P2. Plus this rival between me and David has been going on since the US Pancar Champs of 2005.

Carlos,

It's good to have a rival...it makes for more interesting racing. Plus it's nice to have a little bragging rights Now you know how Tim and I feel each time we race each other

it has to be something changing with the brushes if they sucked before and are good 1/2 a year later.all the same conditions and different results.the only thing different were the aged brushes.there has to be something effecting the brushes over time.sun spots, location of the moon and sun while the earth is a slight angle,i dont know but its something.
