CRC and IRS make awesome shocks for the L4.i like the IRS shock because the piston and shock shaft are 1 piece so once it is assembled it will never break.the stock piston is aluminum and pressed onto the shaft.they pull off when they get knocked around.

When I set up the date I talked with the management about 100 racers and we might make it. Our Wednesday night series normally has 15-18 racers for just 1/12 19 turn. Sunday 1/12 stock is drawing about the same. Touring car is about even, so with some traveling racers we could have 8 heats of 1/12 and 6-8 touring cars.
I know my car is old and way outdated, but i need a dialed setup for a 12L3 running on medium-medium/high ozite for stock and 19 turn, and rollouts for each motor about. fi anyone could help wit the setup, that would be swell!

Hi , I need to know what a good starting point for motor timing is, I am running a CRC 3.2 with a 19t single Trinity ARCORNITE pro, I've been told 3-4 degrees and 36 degrees, I'm thinking someone is giving me a can of bs. By the way, I run outdoors, asphalt, approx 75x100 track. any help would be greatly appreciated

very cool.you learn something new everyday
I don't want to start the discussion about which car is 'better', a link or t-bar car. I know both suspensions are great and really work well.
But I would like to know what the difference is between them. I was told that a link car has a more aggresive steering.
The reason why I'm asking is because I'm about to start in 1/12 again.
I've been racing it for a couple of years and started racing TC in September of 2006, but I'd like to run in both classes (1/12 for the heart and TC for the competition!).
I will start with a SP12m Euro (t-bar) which I still had, but I'm in the look out for a new chassis. I'm curious how a link car works for me, I like a car that isn't that aggresive (on steering) so that's why I'm wondering If a link car has a more aggresive steering (or maybe something else).
Hope you guys can help!
P.S. I did used the search option, but all I could find are things like; a t-bar car has gained more victories and a link/t-bar car works better for me (couldn't find out why).
