Oh ok, are those TA02 Porsche bodies still available? I guess they wouldnt release a kit without having some shells to fit.

Actually I wonder if the new Porsche RS934's will fit, they use a shortened ta05 chassis dont they?

I guess it wouldnt take much more then lower arms, tl01 dogbones and maybe turnbuckles for the upper link to make the conversion yourself, so would be easy enough to try out for the fun of it.

Wouldnt be that useful for racing though, as there would be no class to run it in.

Got a part number for that Porsche body?

I'm not sure there is a body set for the Porsche rs934 yet but the kit was released (earlier this month from memory) and was part number 49400. I would assume they would release a body set as well.

Its only a baby one..based on the new Tamtech chassis.. Dont think it'll fit a Mini..

Says 1/12th so probably not. pity.

The specs for the 12th scale Porsche are:

total length : 355mm
Width : 168mm
Wheel base : 190mm

So just a tad short in the wheel base department.

Getting mine today. There selling them on Ebay for more than 700USD!!
Its a special chassis with with a 230mm wheelbase.. wonder if the bodywill fit on a m03m.

yes that is the body sets I bought. they had them and the Tamiya World Championships, for like 3000 yen with the stickers set. if you see the body sets on Ebat I've seen them for as much as $200 before I bought these.

Would using ballnuts and spacers to eliminate the Mini chassis' bumpsteer be legal for TCS?

depends on the track. some let is slide some don't. But the thing I noticed was the scew was always bending and throwing off the toe, cause the screw is so long.

I was told that this is legal within reason. For TCS racing they want you to keep the ball height close to the stock level. To get rid of all the bump steer you will need ALOT of spacers and a long screw. This would look goofy and would not pass tech at a TCS race.

It wouldnt pass here. Either you use the stock items or you don't race.
To be honest if the bump steer is affecting your car that much then your suspension probably isnt set correctly anyway?
