ok I'm going crazy with all these parts!! whew!! Anyhow I want to get a M03 and am wondering which is best? sorry had to do it... actually I've read the little bit on rc-mini and would get the M03M but everyone at the track is getting them so to be different and run a cooper body I think I'll go with the M03. Could somone verify if I've got the parts right to get the M03 to M03M status except for the length.

I think I have plenty of bearings sitting around for the whole car.

Is there more and/or are these the right parts? Again I'm not looking to hop it up right now just get the extra goodies from the M03M and then go from there.

Buy the M03M kit. Take out the spacers. Add your favorite Cooper Body.

Much better imho. The M03M has all the new suspension, bearings, etc. You'll have the best of both. If you decide the medium wheel base might work better you can just put the spacers back in.

At Fastlane here in KC we ran them yesterday and were very solid, and durable. We ordered the kit, the TA03 diff, universals, sway bars and TRF shocks. You can add hollow gear shafts and a heat sink if you want to "maxx" it out.

you don't need 53345 the 21238 has toe in rear uprights.
You'll need 8 qty 10mm x 5 mm bearings. that's all

Buy the M03M, take out the chassis extenders, throw on a Mini Cooper body...

Its the ONLY way to go... Trust us on this one.

You can probably sell the Swift shell for what you'd pay for a HPI Rover Mini Cooper shell (my personal fave)

Although they wont sell to you direct. We got ours from Rainbow Ten about 3 years back I think? They aren't all that easy to get. And I havent even seen them at R10 for a long long time.

Oh cool I didn't know you could do that... I mean I knew you could change lengths but I hadn't seen anything to replace the M extender. Is there a part needed or is everything there? Just take out the extender and put it back together? I'm gonna go look for some pics.

Yep, just omit the 2 side extenders and your set...nothing else needed except a 210mm body.

Somehow I have to find one then or make my own and I can't paint let alone BUILD something.

Well...then how about some good high res profile (ie. top, side, front, etc..) photos of the bodies. I'll digitize it myself - just a matter of taking the jpegs and dragging them into my program.

Ahhh, THAT level of digitizing....

I thought you were talking full 3D points all over the model. Which is what we do here at work. Because that's a lot of work.
