truck doesnt need anything done to lower it for racing. just taking the spacers off the shocks will get bones level and thats what you want. lowering it less than that will eliminate the function of the suspension.

I like the Hardcore towers but went with Nova RC for the wing mounts.

Yes you can get it close to where it works good without the limiters. But that would mean you have to use the stock springs which are too soft for the real jumps and full out racing. If you want to have the right springs you need the Associated red in front and blue in the rear. Now the springs are stiff enough you wont bottom out as easily on jumps and hard corners. But that means you need to put limiters in the bring it down to the race height.
As far as what is wrong with the Integy shocks? They dont put enough thread in the cap and body to hold together with the hard jumping action of racing. The caps eventually pop off.

Integy dose not use good quality Al. I have never had any luck with them
