Default Broken carbon fiber chassis

What is the best way to drill and countersink new holes on my L4 chassis?

What affect does moving the body forward 10mm on the body posts have on car handling?

Kevin.

Hey Doug (PRC) here's some 'hurried' progress pics of the 'Red' Burn Fit and finish are nice and tight. Can't wait to see what this does on asphalt There's more red to come...

JayBee,
Nice pics. The phillips head screw are a nice "old school" touch. Is your asphalt fairly high bite?

I'm curious why nearly everyone that has purchased a car called Rug Burn wants to race it on asphalt?

At times the bite is just as much as carpet

Probably the same reason why guys buy a 2.0-2.5mm touring car and immediately want a 3.0-4.0mm carpet chassis for it

Doug, yes our track is very high bite. Tell JB to get his butt in gear and get that thing running and not gathering dust....

I notice that some of you guys use thrust bearings in your diffs. Which brands are best to fit into an L3 diff? Does this require any other parts in the diff? I'd love to get rid of the bearing-collapsing issue this way. Any photos would be great. Thanks

I hope JayBee ordered plenty of spares the way he breaks t-bars.

I think JayBee's name should be changed from "spare parts" to "the collector". Cause all he does is build 1/12 cars and never races them.

Ditto, goes in all of my 1/12 diffs. They are not cheap ($32ish), but more then worth the money once you build the first diff with them.

Can someone experienced in 1/12 19turn outdoor racing recommend which tires to use. I was thinking Magenta front/ rear CRC Pro-Cuts, or Jaco Pink front/rear. Any suggestions? This is my first time running outdoors, the track should be meduim bite.
