CRC? This car is just a modified R5, and how is the front end illegal?

It is ROAR legal...but isn't WGT legal. ROAR's only rule against independent suspension is for the rear suspension.

Actually the rear end is more like the one on the Serpent S120

As explained in depth a few posts back, the front end is more than just a modified R5. As for its legal status with ROAR, someone will have to break out a rule book to see if the articulated lower front arms are allowed.

Hey guys, just wondering if you can help out here. I bought a used integy truer and the thing works great.

Only issue so far is that it came with a 1/12 arbor that the front tires fit on, but I am either missing a piece to fit the rear Jaco tires on the truer or I have the wrong arbor.

Is there a shim I need or is there a better arbor out there I can buy. I was looking on the BMI site, but it doesn't look like they have the universal arbor on their site anymore.

I am trying to true Jaco Prism front and rears.

Thanks

I have a 1/12 arbor. There's actually three pieces. I don't recall but you either use the third piece for the rear or the front. I think you may be missing that piece for the arbor.

adjustable lower suspension(skid angle)

new large wheel

bump stop screw
with this front end you wont need to use spacers to get the front ride height? do you just adjust the shock to get ride height?

Love the old school stuff,in the end the team drivers took the shocker out and just used a piece of silicon tube, ball link, dubro collar, piece of 1/16th wire, the problem with the old shocker front end was it center pivot block was small so you had long arms, and after a few hits the front end become wobbly.

Ah.. where does one start.

Firstly its nothing like a Serpent rear end and secondly put back the rule book, this front end has been tried before (Good idea) but does'nt work well, there will be too many moving parts, to much slop, to heavy, not consitant, should I go on.
If the Yok front end is so good why did'nt AE further develop it back in the day. The main sponsored drivers all modified it to the point of going back to standard front parts.
But I have been wrong before.

Despite all the talk about the Yok being a renewal of the old AE front end, I can clearly see that the only thing the two have in common is just the monoshock. Looking closely the AE is actuated at the hubs where the Yok is actuated at the arms.
