The Northcraft ones are good, but the new Chevron ones kick arse! Take a look at these puppies...

Same body, just painted differently. We figured they looked sorta like mid 80's rally cars (Metro 6R4 etc) so we painted them with that sorta theme in mind. Mine is the Rothmans car, Tim Keiller owns the Martini one and Tony Parreiro owns the Alitalia one. They look great dont they.

Here's all THREE of em!

Don't fret too much about lightening your mini.. We've had them at around 1200 or so and it it makes no difference. If anything it makes them worse! We have a theory that the little bit of extra weight helps stop some of the wheelspin that Minis tend to suffer so much from.
Getting your electronics down as low as possible (i.e. inside the rear chassis halves) and getting the whole thing down on the ground as close as you can are the two most important things of all.

No rear wing for the Mini in the CC event at SMA. Before everyone has a go, The Suzuki has a rear wing. It is only level with the roof and has no lip so no actual downforce. Good old Tamiya, it looks good but has no actual advantage except for looking good

We actually think that the big wings on the Chevron shells slow the car down even! But they look so horn that we leave them on...
