Anyone selling an MTX4 roller or something for a good price? I have an rc10gt with spares servos, setup for re and se engines, and will also throw in some $$ for difference. Anyone?

Yes after seeing some sedans run, my 8th being a lil finicky...sux it being an older engine (nova top), I'd like to run with the pack of sedans again. I always wanted a Mugen sedan anyway.

That's what I always ran in my MTX3, 50K in the rear and either 1-way or 100K diff up front. Works great.

Is your home track small or wide open ?

I'm thinking to use front gear diff after the one way bearing is out of service.

Some said ( unproven ) using one way is faster cornering speed than using front gear diff ?

Vinyard is selling his friend's MTX-4 on the for sale forum for $330. I dont think you can find a better price than that.

Trying to get my car setup, I have a couple of questions.

1. What type of charger are you guys using to charge the receiver batteries and the batteries for the starter box.
2. What percentage fuel do should I use to break in my OS.
3. If I use 30 percent do I need to shim the head.

Thx.

I still keep my battery charger where I was racing electrics. It's a schulze electronik Eco-Select. More info here: http://www.schulze-elektronik-gmbh.de/eco-e.htm

I use it for all the packs: Tx, Rx and starterbox... yes, another kept of my earlier electric days, two 7.2v racing packs to get 14.4v for the starter box, nothing defeats my starter box and remain unstarted..

Use the same fuel, if you plan to race with 30% break-in with 30%, accept nothing than the best fuel available, check your LHS and get one from a reputable brand.

Of course, the majority of engines came shimmed from factory for being used with 15-20% nitro maximum (unless the instructions tell you the opposite). Check on the OS thread for more information about this.

i assume you are running a OS TZ, if that's the case the engine is shimmed for 30% out of the box, you will not need to add shim.

you are way ahead of yourself , considering Mtx-4 just came out few month ago i dont see mtx-4 prospect coming out anytime soon. mugen usually introduces their propect model at the end of the product cycle so, i guess maybe another 2 years or so ?
