Beginner Nitro - What engine for Savage?
#16
stick with the s-25 or f4.1.......easy to tune and will give you all the power a beginner will need (actually my f4.1 is rivaling my picco .26) very easy to tune and reliable...will last until you want to upgrade

If the truck came with an HPI engine or if you have a worn out big block HPI engine check into the engine exchange program on the website www.hpiracing.com

But in any case, I now have a F4.1 comming to me (if nothing bad happens *knock on wood*), with clutch, hopefully airfilter, and rotostart backplate for about $130. Now, I only need a pullstarter/rotostart and header... I don't think I can get this 'like new' savage going for under $300.

here ya go. most of the time the truck was in first (unless it was spinning its tires). but you can see plenty of the trucks torque. i didnt have much footage to work with so i hope you like it
