stick with the s-25 or f4.1.......easy to tune and will give you all the power a beginner will need (actually my f4.1 is rivaling my picco .26) very easy to tune and reliable...will last until you want to upgrade

Collari .32 will be a perfect engine replacement for a Savage lots of torque meaning a lot of wheelies

For some reason, I am associating Collari = Italian = hard to tune + probably expensive.

Was looking a little more into these... There's the S-25, F4.1, and F4.6 at Towerhobbies. I'm looking and seeing the F4.6 is a step over the F4.1... Gosh, now I'm wanting maximum amount of power, although I should probably go with the S-25 for my budget/less to loose if I mess up my first nitro engine... The choices the choices...

If the truck came with an HPI engine or if you have a worn out big block HPI engine check into the engine exchange program on the website www.hpiracing.com

Should have thought this more out. I saw an used .25 with roto start and everything go right past me for $25. If I had done that, I could ruin that engine to pieces, then go get a new one for $100... Or upgrade.

But in any case, I now have a F4.1 comming to me (if nothing bad happens *knock on wood*), with clutch, hopefully airfilter, and rotostart backplate for about $130. Now, I only need a pullstarter/rotostart and header... I don't think I can get this 'like new' savage going for under $300.

Good to hear. By any chance, do you have a link to the video? I haven't wandered much farther than this sub-forum.
