Default Locking Mante-Ray diif

I'm looking for a way to lock up my diff more. I have built the diff as the instructions say and tightened the nut down all the way. Diff still doesn't seem very tight. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Default turnbuckle upper arm for M03

Hi all,

I'm new here... I will be glad if any of you can help me.

I would like to know if there any manufacturer that make turnbuckle upper arm for M-03, especially the front upper arm.

I install the 53226 Alum front hub carrier and the castor is set to +.
The handling is really awesome... is like I'm driving 4WD car... no push-push into and exit the turn... but it kills my tires.

I run foam tires and they rub the outer part. I need to make the chamber more negative, but since tamiya don;t make the option for upper arm, is there any manufacturer make this option ?

I've tried to make one using the tamiya 5mm short adjuster (50797) but it's still longer than the stock plastic upper arm... Even cut this short ball cup but still no luck...

Any suggestion, please...

TIA

Guys,

Just a couple of ???? to mini pros.

1) Does the 60D Type A come with inserts or do I need to get 50686 60D Inner Sponge Tire Set (Soft) as well?

2) What is the difference between TA03 diff set and Manta Ray diff set? Which one should I get.

3) Is the new M03m chassis basically the same but with a shorter extension piece to M03L? Just want to know if I get the chassis extension then I could run the BMW Cooper body.

4) Any useless stuff in the list below or did I miss anything that I need.

58368 Suzuki Swift Super 1600 - M03M
51237 Suzuki Swift Super 1600 Wheel Set
53267 TA03 Ball Differential Set
53343 M03 Front/Rear Stabilizer
53344 M03 Aluminum Heat Sink
53345 Toe-in Rear Upright
53346 Ouick Release Batt Holder
53390 Hollw Carbon Gear Shaft
53523 Alum Front Upright Set
53527 3 x 32 Titan Turnbuckle
53569 Clamp Type Alum Wheel Hub - 6mm
49198 TRF Damper Set
53488 Adjustable Ball Connectors x 2
53333 Touring Car Tuned Spring Set (Short)
53205 M-Chassis Universal Shaft Set
53340 M Chassis 60D Reinforced Tires Type A x 4
50686 60D Inner Sponge Tire Set (Soft) x 2
53379 Light Weight Diff Balls

Does anyone know where to get a Honda Civic Type R EK hatchback body that can fit the M03 chassis?

Thanks in advance.

I can manage up to 4mm fr (blue spring) and 6 mm rr (yellow), using Tamiya 50746 CVA Super mini shock.

I really need a shorter upper arm than the stock one.

If you know how to build ones, it'd be much appreciate.

Thx

1. Slick 60D comes without inserts, you need to buy hard foam inserts and try to double it for front and rear. ( Hard + Normal foam inserts can be mixed for rear ---> for more rear stability ).

2. TA03 ball diff is slightly different unit than Manta Ray's. Buy TA03 ball diff and set it to maximum tightness.

3. Buy M03L bmw mini cooper full kit plus rover mini cooper body only. If you want to you drive the rover mini ( old type ), just remove the chassis extension.

4) Any useless stuff in the list below :
53346 Ouick Release Batt Holder
50686 60D Inner Sponge Tire Set (Soft) x 2
53379 Light Weight Diff Balls

.....did I miss anything that I need.:
Tamiya Reinforced Wheels ( black plastic )
Tamiya wheels spacer ( like shims ) for making front track width wider by another 1mm left and right.
