hey dave
Would trinity purple springs work well with the standard tamiya brushes on the super stock type RZ? Or consquently would the purple springs work better with the atlas 079 brush as i was asking about before? or would both these things be waste of time... if so what springs are best?

i didnt get a chance to run it because there was no class because of the skool holidays but it sounded alright on the power supply.
question about the comm tho, whats the approx number of runs you should use it before you cut it. It isnt geared too hard approx 46 pinion on a 96 tooth spur on a TB evo 3. i think thats about 5.42 im not sure. The comm in sections seems to be lightly black and then near the lines that are down the comm its much heavier. any reasons for this?? thanks

damn three to four runs thats rather short lol but thats what i expected. Is there any other spring/brush combo that could devlop some more torque from this motor as my track is quite tight. The atlas brush and the std spring seem they should work really well for rpm although on my track it cant be used to its full advantage.
the pinion should be right i put a 44 on last time... have to dig up the 45 one
