Seems counterintuitive to convert to a conventional damper.

Just another option to try out , my steel chassis is still stock with the d4 dampers . Everyone is always talking about tuning and trying this or that , well , that’s what I’m doing .
Let a pro do it and win some big race and ooohhhh watch out , everyone would be ordering the conversion .
At the end of the day , it’s just another option . Have fun 🤩.

Any feedback on the P13XH ball cups? Thinking of trying some on my Yokomo if they are known to be durable.

Has anyone tried the FD800 on a technical layout with medium bite surface?

This part is a mold change as compared to P13. Note it only works with Awesomatix brand turnbuckles

That is an old car now. We won't be curating setups for that anymore. Look for stock TC setups. The MMX was a mega car

FWD chat is over here -- Awesomatix A800FX Front Wheel Drive Touring Car

The Awesomatix fwd is very popular -- raced with nearly a full field of them this past weekend in Bakersfield

Good to know, I won't buy them in that case.

We are starting to get a flow of setups from the West Coast Nationals (Bakersfield, CA). These are posted here (folder A800RR/2026-05) --

https://www.awesomatixusa.com/p/setup-sheets.html

If anyone has setups from the event please reach out to get them uploaded. Sharing your setups from event success is the best way to get noticed (hint, hint)!!

I chatted with Dieter on Monday. He's gotten a handful of 17.5 orders already.

Plus, let's not forget how dialed the car was

This is the Flex Dampener

It's useful to make the front end less reactive, similar to a 1pc top deck, but with more steering response. I like 200k cst in the FD
