Good to hear that Futaba isn’t Spektrum!

That's possible, but simply setting the radio to SR/UR won't work. You need to configure Futaba servos explicitly to work with SR/UR mode (which is why the transmitter came with a sheet of SR/UR stickers to mark your servos). Some other brands seem to autodetect this mode. I know some SRT servos work with SR without addition configuration. There's also the various Sanwa protocols; which has even wider 3rd party support. I would not be surprised if many of the top drivers using Sanwa are also using the faster servo modes. Sanwa and Flysky are a lot more popular than Futaba at the highest level (it was at the last ETS race, at least). (which I believe is more down to marketing/sponsoring rather than objective quality).

Hello all,

Just a quick question (sorry, didn't found anything on the manual). Is possible to get on the 10PX the voltage of the receiver pack which is plugged on the receiver (nitro car) without need of telemetry sensors? TIA.

Perusing on Futaba site, noticed that I use a quite obsolete software version. Anyone with an older?

Not sure with the F-4G receiver but the R304 and R334 receivers the supply voltage is default with the telemetry, no sensor needed. Pretty sure with the F-4G receiver it is the same.

As a quick reply: After upgrading the transmitter without an issue, saw the Rx pack voltage indicated so maybe was a glitch on the software or God know what. Liked the transmitter since the first time and every time I like it more and more.

Surely that going from v2 sw to v14 many bugs have been solved (and many added to...). Didn't found any noticeable difference between those two versions so everything is really well hidden.

Not unexpected after the T10XCR. Picture was machine translated from a Japanese picture.

Ceramic bearings… titanium screws. That should make throwing it on the ground when I lose even faster.

Allows you to operate the trigger by pinching it between your index and middle fingers.
I just can't picture this.

I can. And if it’s what I’m thinking, it would provide constant contact with the trigger, removing the finger-gap between forward and brake. Also, actuating the brakes with the middle finger gives finer control (mechanically) of the brake.

IF it’s what I’m thinking.

Have a 10PX but the unique feature that I would want want to have on my plain (not blinged on) is the steering trim instant recall. Crossing fingers that is a function that appears on a future software release.

Just as an FYI, the techs at Hobbywing said they intended to extend support of the Hobbywing sBus Adapter to all their other ESCs but they didn't have an ETA for me at the time of our conversation. So....I went and bought the adapter and connected it to my Hobbywing XR10 Stock Spec 2S Gen2 mated to a Hobbywing V10 G4R 13.5T and I was able to have telemetry data on my 10PX...I just wanted temps on the ESC and motor but there were others available that I wasn't interested in at the moment. Make sure you connect the adapter to the radio FIRST and register it BEFORE you connect it to the receiver's sBus...for some reason it won't connect/register through the receiver...time to get another one for my other buggy...

Dunno how this would affect rules in stock racing though but for now, it'll be a good tuning tool...

I almost bought one from rcmart.com but decided to wait until they are officially released here in the states so I can get support if needed.

Anyone have any idea when that’ll be?

Ive had my 10PX-R Since early April and absolutely love it! Used only Sanwa for the past 10 years and cant see my self going back after a month solid with the new Futaba. Response is as fast or faster than the Sanwa. Its just as "connected" feeling as it, which it lacked before. SOOOOO much easier to adjust and the battery last forever too!

US release has been pushed to July Ive heard. I got mine from Europe and dont regret it one bit.

Thanks for the info EA! Not sure I can wait until July. Been using a 7pxr for 6 years and I've been itching to get something new for a while now. Might just have to pull that trigger and take my chances.
