Center of axle.

... However, there is an 18mm a 17.5mm difference between the middle of the axle and the lower arm (that is, the metal ball that peaks out from the bottom), so...

lower_arm_height + 17.5mm + shims = mid_axle_height
mid_axle_height - 17.5mm + shims = lower_arm_height

That 18mm distance is variable if you use different shims.

I believe all team setups are measured with aerox droop gauge

Thanks guys,

Got myself the T Works droop gauge which is quite similar to the Aerox one. Just wanted to make sure I was comparing apples to apples!

Default Mtc3 springs

Hello all,

has anyone tried any other manufacturer springs on the Mtc3? Mugen was softer than others with previous versions but now they are all fairly similar chassis wise im assuming the spring rates are closer or will the alu chassis of set it slightly?

Unless some other manufacturer comes out with a 15mm long spring we are stuck with Mugen springs for now

If anyone is looking for a MTC3, I have a brand new built never run kit for sale. If interested its in the for sale section. Decided to go with a different chassis.

What drove your decision to let the MTC3 go?

This is my build. Can’t wait to put it on the track! Hard to get the balance any better! Just need to figure out a better way to route the transponder wire and get a shorter sensor wire.

That's the most perfectly balanced touring car I ever seen, great job!

I would just shorten the transponder wire and stick it to the side of the receiver.
