I recently added a few tungsten weights wich i taped to the chassis, but these are quite expensive

For me the current minimum weights are too high in many reglements. Its a bigger headache an more expensive to stay above the minimum weight instead of trying to get below.
I like the current trend of steele chassis very much, and it should make this search for weight a non issue. Hopefully it is ready for the winter season.

In general when running mod I use a battery around 240g and stock I'm around 280g.

Finished my build last night. Everything went together quite well! Little more time consuming than other kits I have built due to the amount of parts. The no breakin ball cups are a nice touch but I am mildly concerned about losing alignment from minor impacts.
I had one issue with the rear dog bones. The pin was pressed to the incorrect distance and made it impossible to attach the E clip on one side. A quick beating with a hammer and I was able to get it centered up properly.

Personally I have zero desire to run a steel chassis. Steel bends and I'm not about to tear down the car and check the chassis for tweak every time I take a hard hit or crash. I'll save the High Grade Alloy Steel for my screws...LOL

Aluminium bends more than steel...
