The HW motor has an 1/8th inch shaft,,,,, I used a Hot Racing 18 tooth pinion gear. They are a 0.5 mod gear.

These from LC Racing will work. They have an 1/8th inch bore. https://casterracingmi.com/index.php...roduct_id=1604

I don't know for sure - but would guess that you'll be OK without it.
Check temps after a 5min run maybe?

Anyone having issues blowing out shocks? Can we buy replacement shock seal kits for these?

It has a center diff, which is kind of awesome. Given the popularity of the mini 8 and the LC Racing 1/14 rigs, this has a decent shot.

Might come with cvds standard (can’t tell yet) so between those and the center diff it seems very competitive and well-priced.

Yes so that i can make a new one out of aluminum to hold down the motor better also using steel inserts for more strength.

Default New motor mount

It is a sliding motor mount that can fit a 16t, 17t & 18t pinion. Reason for making is so that I can get the motor lower to the chassis and the motor is more secure.
