Mine is sitting in it's box waiting for spring. Just need a servo, body and tires.

Mine is in the mail and everything I need for it should be here by next Friday. I’m pretty excited about the car.

Does this pan car have avy suspension at all? I was looking at a Serpent Taipan and it appears to have front suspension.

It's all in the chassis flex. There aren't any conventional springs or dampers. I bought one and put it together a little while ago. I am not totally sure what I am going to do with the car up here as we don't have any good asphalt tracks in MN.

I was wondering about this myself. I’m sure some thought has went into the design, they usually do things pretty well.

I also looked at that. The Taipan has pivoting upper arms but looks the same on the bottom like the X8. A solid bar. Neither have springs.

I am good with that. As long as I can get about 8mm ride height with trued foams I should be good at our mildly bumpy circuit.

After market or factory parts to tune flex? Or a dremel?! 🤣

Well I finally got mine put together and out on the track yesterday. Great little car in my opinion. Probably the simplest pan car I have ever seen. I was a bit skeptical of the "non moving suspension" but the oring pivot and chassis pivot points seem to work well because the car drove outstanding. Fast, edgy, and consistent. You do have to be a little more conservative on the front end settings like camber and toe since there is no suspension to travel but you are tuning it to how much flex you dial in. Mine worked right out of the gate.
